Hey! My name is Anthony Turner. I identify as many things in this world. A Christian, an outgoing introvert, a Podcaster, an Advocate, a former foster youth, a survivor, among other things. But one thing that I've strongly identified with is being a writer. I have written for nearly half my life now. It was initially something I disdained, something I felt should only be done in the realm of classrooms. I am glad that I have chosen to take that decision 14 years ago and make something amazing with it. As a former foster youth, I have been through many traumatic experiences that have shaped me to be the person I am today. I share those experiences here and many more as I gained a revelation, some clarity that people should hear my story, that this is my purpose, my mission in life. I hope as you read my story you find hope, value, and something relatable and transparent.
